Hi, I'm pretty bad with the data editor in sc2 but I've run into a problem where I have to use it in my map:(
I'm trying to make a unit morph into the same unit (same actor) but flying seamlessly so it appears it didn't even change. Could anyone give me a run through on this? The flying unit would also have to morph back into the ground unit too

If you are just intending to have the unit fly around without changing the actor, why not just do the following instead of morphing??
Make an instant ability that applies a buff to the unit that lasts indefinitely. It modifies the units height over X seconds. You could also disable/enable weapons while the buff is on...
While the unit has this buff active, enable a second button that will apply a second buff while simultaneously removing the first buff. Second buff should modify height back to 0 over X seconds.
EDIT: Wait.. hm... my method might not work if you are unable to change the unit pathing through behaviors... it's been a while.
I'm a complete noob when it comes to the editor, but I did this when playing around with the editor when it first was released. I can't remember how to now, but I do remember looking at the Terran Viking and I figured it out. I'm sorry I'm not that helpful, but hopefully that will send you on the right path.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure you can't but I might have missed it. And you can't through triggers either. So I think morphing is the only option:/
Use the same Unit type actor for both and have two different units with one being a copy and just change the mover.

Alright, I think I'll look at the viking and then give it a shot. Doesn't sound as hard as I had imagined now, thanks everyone
