In the data editor I need to make a large quantity of doodads. Most of these have variations. I tried looking at blizzard's stuff but I couldn't figure out how to make the models utilize the variations. Just ended up giving me a white sphere of death both times. Any help would be great.

No luck with those.
Edit: Still no luck with it. I'm using one of your Doodads Soulfilcher and I get this kind of error message CActorDoodad[Couch] Model LocalizedData\Couch_00_01.m3; Unable to create this model. It adds the fuffix it self and Idk why...
@JacktheArcher: Go I think I know whats 'could' be wrong. I know some blizzard models that do have variations have a model file in the same folder without the _0? suffix. So maybe you need a Couch.m3 in that folder as well. And the model data should point to Couch.m3 instead of couch_00.m3.
I guess that even if you don't have the actual model in the folder you can just switch to XML mode and edit your entry to point to Couch.m3.

Check the model data tab for these. Models with variations use number suffixes _00; _01 and so on, and shouldnt be hard to replicate.
