I want to darken my fog of war in my map so its easier to tell what is being revealed.
Does anyone know how to do that?
Things I've tried:
1. Fog of War Data tab (seems only to affect unexplored areas)
2. Map Fog under the Terrain Texture Sets (seemed unrelated to Fog of War)
The picture below explains what I mean when I say Fog of War.

Did you try just setting Fog of War too Dark ? So the whole map is black, and 'fog of war' normal once revealed, like SC1 style
I dont know what your talking about.
I dont know how to set fog of war.
I've figured out how to change mask settings but I want to change the fog of war in explored areas (not unexplored).

Edit: didn't work - sorry :) should've tested before.

Thanks for trying to help.
Okay I've updated the picture to help explain what I need changed.
I want to change how dark explored unrevealed areas appear. I'll try to post another picture in main post later today.
Edit: sorry never got around to adding the new picture.

I'd try reducing all the Alpha values in the Fog of War Data tab.
Wow okay. So your were close. DeProgrammer
I tried lowing it and there was no fog of war. So apparently you have to raise Alpha as high as it can go. Thank you so much.
Oops. I frequently get Alpha backwards. Sometimes I think higher means more "Alpha transparency," and other times I think it means opacity. :P
Lol i figured thats what you meant. There's a picture attached of the end result.
