Wizard of Wor

This is a remake of the great classic Wizard of War from Bally Midway.

My target is to get as close to the C64 version of this great game as possible. Except for the graphics, these will be used from starcraft.

Any suggestions are very welcome!

Current status:
  • 3 base monster types (Burwor, Garwor, Thurwor)
  • only 1 player (with shooting ability)
  • monsters dont shoot yet
  • exits dont work
  • very basic AI
  • 6 easy, 8 hard maps, arena map, pit map
  • mapchange basicly working
  • soundeffects for "Get Ready Go", playerdeath, Monsterdeath, player enters dungeon and background music
  • basic collision detection
  • count points for killed enemies, (shown as minerals and at score screen)
  • extra lives at map 4 and 13
  • automated enemy-speed change (although the curve is too steep)
  • automated background music speed change
To do list:
  • add 2. player
  • make exits working
  • add Worluk
  • add Wizard of Wor
  • add Double Score Dungeon capability
  • AI closer to original
  • better collision detection
  • monster shoot ability
  • more sounds
  • add all maps
  • blend of "get ready go" text
  • add original Double Score Dungeon screen
  • add psychadelic graphic effects when killing Wizard
  • add psychadelic graphic effects when Worluk flies
  • Bugfixing
  • add cloaking ability to enemies
