Chess Map for StarCraft 2
Play Chess locally ( no AI ) or in Multiplayer Mode. Contains most of the important Rules ( En Passant, Castling, Promotion ). No stalemate/checkmate detection right now, you'll have to actually kill the King to win.
Get the latest Version of this map on Battle.Net ! Just go to Multiplayer -> Create Game and Search for "voidChess" in the "popular" Searchbox.

Posted Aug 29, 2010Latest Version ( 1.0 is not the latest any more ) can be found on Battle.Net now.
Search for "voidChess" ( just putting "void" should be enough ) in "Popular Maps" List, found under Multiplayer -> Create Game.

Posted May 2, 2010Would be cool if you could make a chess game but not normal chess... I don't know if you saw the game in warcraft name SoulChess... i think it would be cool to have somehting similar in Starcraft 2 but i don't have the skill to do it so here the idea :P didn't try your game yet, i'll give you my appreciation of it later!

Posted May 2, 2010Yo man great implementation of the game, but if u move ur pawn over the board to the opposite do acquire a new queen,rook,bishop or tower the newly acquired fighter is from the opponents race :O
