A turn based strategy game where you command a small squad of units. You compete by defeating your opponents squads.
You will frequently be rewarded with resources which can be used for purchasing upgrades and items for your forces.
Largely inspired by X-COM: Enemy Unknown and X-COM: Apocalypse.
Great idea, but why not keep right click to move? Its simply confusing. Also why not keep the original unit wireframe with life and energy, so players can check max and current stats?
The triggers seem to have problems, frequently my units wouldnt respond to my commands. I hope you keep working on it so it can become something great. And maybe add a "backpack" for all units? A simple inventory with a few slots would be enough.
Hey! I took a look at your game, and it's pretty awesome. The controls are incredibly awkward right when you start, but I got used to it. Didn't take me long before I had all my marines moving at the same time, and then destroyed some shit.
I think I noticed one problem; when you order a marine to move somewhere, and then it runs out of energy, it will attempt that action again as soon as your next turn starts, and remain uncommandable while it does so. Could just be because it was single player.
Edit: Forgot to add, I love the simplicity of the UI.
