Nitrous
My first attempt at making a map for Starcraft 2. It's a completely functional racing game, two people can play on the same keyboard, would be a good learning tool for people trying to figure out a few of the editor's basics, like WASD controls and the like. Inspired from the game "Off Road" for the NES.

Completely agreed, I've learned a lot about the editor since this map. I would definitely add the acceleration thing, as well as make it so your Hellion doesn't stop immediately, but kinda glides to a halt. Collision's also kinda messed.

Posted May 17, 2010The biggest minus of this map is the camera. It's especially annoying in the last map. Also controls could be worked a little. I don't like the way acceleration works (basically you push w or up arrow and the car instantly moves at max speed , and if you stop pressing the car immediatelly stops moving). I would like if there would be actual acceleration and a braking system.Camera could be third-person or split camera...anything but not what it is now. This is for future maps made with this map in mind.
