Classic Run Kitty Run

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of StarCraft II. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

The object of CRkR is simple: reach the end of the map.

It will be a strong team-based game where you will have to rely on your allies to help you out of sticky situations and rescue you when your luck runs out. Points will be awarded on how much you help your allies and the amount of work you do to complete each level. The opposing force will be AI which is randomly spawned (at the start of the game) on your path to victory. The AI will randomly be ordered to move to different positions on the path. If you touch any of the AI force you will die and a "Circle of Power" type object will be created where you have fallen. If an ally steps on this circle of power you will be resurrected at that point. To win at CRkR you must avoid being hit at all cost and reach the end of each level.

Mechanics that make this game challenging:

  • Each level will add more AI forces
  • Your unit is fast and can be hard to control
  • The sporadic movement of the AI forces you to have a split second reaction time
  • Players may want to finish the map first instead of helping their team
