Barracks of the Dead: Space Slaughter
The Barracks of the Dead is a rail shooter game in current development based off of the House of the Dead series. This game features random monsters, random Bonus Items and random Weapon Upgrades spawning at random locations to keep the game challenging. Additionally, the difficulty of the game will scale with how well you're doing or not doing. Up to three players can play the game. Environmental parts will be randomized to keep the game fresh and challenging.

Features(current):
- 1-3 players
- Scaling difficulty with players' skill level
- Combo system
- Ammunition Upgrading System (Explosive, Acidic and Fire ammunition)
- Bonus Items (adds Cash or Points)
- Selective rail pathing
- Solo Upgrades shop to your increase Max Rounds, Reload Time, & Damage
- Team Upgrade shop to increase your Ammo Upgrade Time length
- You can now purchase Grenades, Shields, +HP, Heals and Full Heals at the end of each mission

- Save Survivors for bonus points and items

Posted Aug 24, 2010This looks like a lot of fun, good work so far. However, I do agree hearing the "reload" spam is not so good. Maybe either have the gun fit more rounds or a cool down on the reload sound.

Posted Aug 24, 2010wow! thats very nice! But i have a brilliant idea to make this better! instead of using the 3d marine gun you should use a image of a gun ripped from a bitmap file.
