    posted a message on Base Buildings spawning in bad locations

    Hello there! I am having a problem with my mod. I am making a mod that will work on every map, out there- using the new feature Blizzard introduced. (Custom map - Play with mod)

    The mod has 1 Hatchery - 1 Nexus & 1 Command Center spawning in a random location on the map. The problem is, some times, they will spawn on places they shouldnt, like inside minerals- in hills- stuff like that.

    So i need to have it find a valid location before spawning, and i dont know how, so please help! :)

    posted a message on Diffrent playable areas for each player.

    Hello there! I want to know how to make diffrent playable areas for each player.

    Using the trigger editor i tried to use the "Action - Region - Set playable area" but that is for all players, which is bad for my map.

    Hope theres a trick or a work around for this, if not, please tell. :)

    I made "Wave 1" that has 5 marines, and i have a delay of 160 seconds, and i have a create point- and target point.. and arrival time.. ( messy explaination )

    This dosent work.. ( yes i remembered to make a trigger for it )

    Can someone make a step for step- or give me link to a good tutorial explaining how i can get a wave working?

    posted a message on Trigger: How to make a built structure research?

    Im gonna say this right away, i do not mean a already placed structure.

    I have a custom probe that builds structures.. I had it build a Forge, and i want the Forge to start researching upgrades when its done. ( After 45 seconds the forge is done constructing )

    I want to provide as much help as possible. So what i think is:

    .Custom Probe Builds Structure ..5 seconds later a trigger tells the forge to research.

    But i need to somehow make the trigger find it.. ( I used a point called "Forge". Thats where the Forge is constructed. )
