So...people actually like this guy. I can't really with Alarak, though. Besides the fact that the Tal'darim were retconned two or three times throughout their existence, and Alarak being a consequence of this, Alarak is just a meaner version of John de Lancie's Q character. It's unoriginal and doesn't fit into Starcraft. Q worked on Star Trek because his quirky nature was a contrast to the uptight nature of Picard and Starfleet in general. Heck, even his Discord incarnation on My Little Pony made sense, because that show has magic and an overall sillier tone.
Starcraft, however, is supposed to be a more serious science fiction with lots of shades of grey. I just cannot with this Q ripoff calling itself https://vidmate.onl/ an original character. If we're going to have a villain Protoss, we need one with logical motivations, and preferably one who isn't horribly smug and annoying.
