I think, The Galaxy Editor primarily uses a GUI (Graphical User Interface) for creating and editing maps, which may be taxing on your machine's resources. Unfortunately, as of my last update in September 2021, there is no built-in text-based interpreter or dedicated scripting language for direct manipulation of the data module or creating new units, spells, behaviors, etc. without using the GUI. www myfedloan org pslf
