I'm using max 2011 64bit importer 2.1 and yeah i have the art tools
I don't seem to have that problem but the UV maps are out of proportion and the animations are ok. Sorry if i had that problem i may have been able to help. try importing it twice?
What model?
I get that some times. I save the map after importing the textures then they show up properly.
what portrait do you need the back ground removed from?

yeah i would say to rename the animations and maybe use the terran build actor as a base for your actor
