    So a long time ago I made a map called Ultimate tank Defense, it was fun way back when and many people played it, but I got bored and quit SC2 but now I want to work on my map again, and heres the problem:

    I LOCKED THE MAP

    And my computer crashed about 7 months ago and I lost all copys of the map, all I got now is the earliest beta version, which is something but really nothing much.

    Anyway what I'm asking is if you good people know a way in which I can overcome the stupid locked crap(Seriously, why cant the PUBLISHER re-download their own map?), because Blizzard technical support just told me too ask you guys because they don't do editor stuffs.

    lol buddy your not alone i had made a really sweet TD game and i wanted to buff it up more well.....the file corrupted and i locked the map...-.- stupid idea DONT LOCK YOUR MAPS!!! BIG WARNGING BIG WARNGING BIG WARNGING BIG WARNGING BIG WARNGING BIG WARNGING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and so i just let it go case closed it was really sad but yeah go with exaken or dRag's idea's :/ sorry

    hmmm seem's like the height of the turret attachment is off the height is Z try setting higher like 10 or something and mess around with it until you get it right

    I recommend posting when you have a specific issue you need help with. In one of the forums, I think Tutorials, there is a Mapster Mentoring thread, long list of people that will help. Its pretty outdated though, so you'll have to check which people are still active. People are open to being PMed and possibly even added to IM programs and so on. The Mapster IRC is also a good place to find help.

    In this current thread, no one can really help you because we don't exactly know what you need help with :/ Stuff in the editor is very specific, so "generalized" help is hard to come by.

    alright...i just kinda wanted a team for this game but ok

    Hello people i just need some help with this map i am making, yes i will give you credit in the game i mean who wouldn't! If i dont you can always report the game :). So i just need some help with it, and the map all you do is the first thing your talking with your buddy in this police department, and then after that you go to the commander. then you have a mission and a little objective pop's up, and then you get in a police car and go. there is a body and you find clues pin it down to a person find some more clues and either catch the criminal or you have to look for more clues, and your buddy is another player and i guess maybe some of the criminals could be players to but yeah we will get more into it once you join, also i have worked a little on it already there's just problem's and stuff i would like you to make, so anyone?

    Hmmmmmm.....well i might have something....try going into the data editor and when your there try messing around with the look options like the big buttons on top....maybe you accidentally pushed one and it made the data editor do that other then that idk sorry

    Here is what you do once you downloaded the map put it on your desktop and then go into the sc2 editor and click open file and then open that map :D hope this helped

    do the hole thing exept create the trigger and in the events make it every 5 seconds of real time]

    actions run trigger [minerals 5+]

    AND THEN DO ALL THE OTHER STUFF FOR THE OTHER TRIGGER I SAID TO DO IN MY LAST 2 POSTS FINALY I GOT THAT OVER WITH!!!

    make a variable and call it mineral unit and inside make it unit type and below that make it the unit you want to be generating minerals then make a trigger and call it minerals +5 then inside that do this:
