Yea focke, i've played your diplo map with you a few times :). BzkRufio but you probably don't remember since it was awhile ago and only a few games. I remember because it was your map wasn't it? Those seem pretty cool maps. I still would love if someone remade WW3 soviet enemy from brood war. The map was pretty similar to yours in terms of terrain, etc, but obviously set in a cold war era kinda with an alternative timeline and different units and triggers. You should look it up and consider if it if you ever get bored of the new one you're doing haha.
Lol, yea I don't know why it is no one will respond to this. Maybe no one remembers it? I'm pretty sure the maker of the map took the WW2 maps (DIE or allied hope, I guess) and altered it a bunch and added a ton of triggers to make USSR a super computer/power that all the other countries fought against. I played a lot of brood war customs and that WW3 soviet game was top of the list for me. Oh well. Maybe someone will remake it eventually or I will eventually understand how the map editor work. It seems like an incredibly daunting task though.
The game you're marking sounds pretty cool. Kinda reminds me of normandy invasion landing game from brood war. A little :P
Does anyone remember this from sc1 brood war? Basically, it took the old WW2 Allied Hope map and drastically remade it to be everyone vs Russia. Its a WW3 timeline where nuclear bombs were never invented so its still convential warefare. Also Russia is a computer in this map with a whole bunch of triggers, etc. It's 5v1 and everyone must work as a team to beat the computer (the computer is super strong and if you don't play it right, you will die). BUT ITS A TON OF FUN <3.
Anyways, long story short: I really miss that game, I don't have the knowledge to make the map nor the patience, I don't have the time to even try right now (I'll probably play more sc2 once I'm done school), does anyone feel like remaking this awesome map for sc2? Or is it possibly already being remade? Thank you for your time everyone in reading this post!
