posted a message on [Solved] How do you Upload a Map with Mods with this Error(s)?

So the other day I was playing Starcraft 2 Brood War with my two friends. We all wanted to play on a bigger map pool and so we looked towards the editor. Now I have finally figured out how to add the SC2BW mod into the map and it plays just fine when launching the map through Galaxy editor. However, In our case we want to do 1 v 1's against each other. We know Maverick wants to keep the SC2BW the same right now and he is very busy and can't do this for us. We just wanted to upload the map privately onto my account so we could just play it because Maverick doesn't want to update 10's of 100's of maps each time he does an update to the mod. So here is the problem:

When I try to use the Mod files I downloaded from here work when I "test" the map in the editor however, I get error message when Publishing "Document dependency does not specify a Battle.net File" I did some research is this apparently means of what I understand of it: It means the mod isn't published on my profile. So I tried uploading each part of the Mod but when I get two of the parts completed the third part does not work.

So I gave up using the local files. Then I tried resorting the online files he posted and oddly enough these files are actually more updated then the ones posted on here. But Regardless When I tried getting out of the dependcies tab I get this error

"Dependency data could not be loaded"

Dependency File could not be found (Mods\SC2BW_-_Temp_Textures.SC2Mod_"

Now I have no idea how to fix this I tried putting the "SC2BW - Data" file into dependcies directly from BNet same error. Then I tried adding the "Temp Textures" both V1.0 and V1.1 and still the same error. I also tried finding the actual files on the internet but still no luck. Then I tried downloading from Battle.net but still no luck.

So I don't really know what to do here. All I am doing is trying to add the SC2BW map into a couple Blizzard maps just for fun but it doesen't work both ways? Do I need the actual files of the mod on my hardrive? Is there a way to get around Battle.Net altogether? The reason why I ask is because I remember seeing something where you could trick Battle.net into thinking it was loading a map but you used another application to trick it and then it would load up your own custom made map.

Thanks for anyone looking at this post and thanks for trying to help hopefully it will get solved.

posted a message on Importing a Mod? [Solved]

Hello guys I am currently underdevelopment of a map that I am just interested testing out with sc2bw mod by maverick and I have the mod and everything but I have no idea on how to implement the mod into the map. I mean I can open the mod directly but I just get a black screen and just opens a different window for the mod instead going inside my map. I also tried the import button and it imported but then what? I can't seem to figure out how do get it inside my map? could someone help me thanks!

PS. I'm mostly doing this for balance issues before I send the map file to maverick to see if he acutally wants to use the map... Thank you for your time!
