Our maps definitely target to different kind of audience. For example my map is closer for everybody who likes to play card related game(s) and/or map(s). :)

Yeahhhhhh right. Please explain that. I think your map is fun (played it quite a while), but I can't say that "The Card game" has something to do with card related games. If you think otherwise, tell me one .

Good looking map but these card games just aren't my cup of tea. These card games are just glorified nexus wars. Sorry, don't mean to be hating on your map on your first thread and post and all that. It's just I was hoping by now a yugioh or something would be out by now.

Try it out. I can assure you that this has nothing to do with Nexus Wars. I don't know yugioh but this map is extremely similar to MTG. Biggest difference is that its not round based. We could made it that way but we thought that the games would be to slow.

I and a friend of mine loved the Map "THE Card Game", but we hated the limitations in the Deck Editor (at least 10 card of every) commonness. So he asked himself "Why not make a map on our own". This was a Month ago. Yesterday we could upload the first working Beta version.

    So we proudly present you:

    Deck Wars

A card game after the popular and known "Magic The Gathering". Make your own Deck, collect Ressources and destroy your enemies. Four different Factions, over 60 different cards. Playable against 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3.

So please: Try it out; post your opinion, critics and inform us about bugs...

I copy pasted the description of the card Types and Factions if you wanna read it

    Cardtypes

    Creature

These are the most kind of cards. Spawn a Creature with or without Skills. It will move foward to the enemy Nexus and attack every other creature on its way. After it attacked the enemy Nexus it will get teleported back and run to the enemy Nexus again.

    Defense

Immobile Unit that will defend the own Nexus if possible. It get a random position on the brown field.

    Spell

A skill or effect that get released after the individual cast time and works for some time. Some Spells have an instant, some an effect over time. Can be canceled by various card.

    Instant

A skill or effect that don't have a cast time and can't be canceled.

    Artifact

A skill or effect that don't have a cast time and works as long it's alive. Like the Spell it can be canceled by various cards.

    Factions

    Terran

With a lot of small offensive units as well as powerful defensive units, the Terran are in good shape to battle their enemys with masses. But they can also interrupt enemy spells and even wipe out an entire army with a nuke.To play the Terran you'll need a good tactic and a sharp eye so you don't miss any spells or artifacts.

    Zerg

One word: Masses! Indeed a single Zerg unit is worthless. But as soon as there is a little army, the game will already be over. Powerful units as the Queen powerup all the other Zergs which usually decides things. They also got some trickery like taking over control of enemy units or detecting invisible units. The most important part in playing Zerg is to be fast but also being prepared for various situations.

    Protoss

Every single Protoss unit is worth it's cost at least twice. With a lot of different special abilities, the Protoss gain control over the battlefield. But even though they even can kill indestructible units there's nothing they could do against enemy spells. Try to make a deck with a lot of surprises for your enemys and spawn your units in a good order.

    Mercenaries

The Mercenaries are professionals. And therefore they rarely try to fight on the field but prefere to kill from the sidelines. For this purpose they got a lot of different Spells in their arsenal. And to reach their goal, they also don't bother to kill off some allies. To rule with the Mercenaries you'll need some experience and skill. Don't panic, if it looks like you're losing.
