That the newest patch 1.5 has caused my projectles to stop exploding. They still fire, they still impact. But they dont play the impact model. No idea why. I'm hoping some of you know exactly what to fix. Gah, why Blizzard, WHY?
Hey, so I have been manipulating ProzaicMuze's Beam Tutorial file to try to understand Beams better in an effort to create an effect for my map. I pretty much have it working like I want. But it throws up a Warning Error. This isn't a big deal since it still works, but I would prefer to have no errors, and it also means that I don't understand something (which is really the bigger issue) because I can't fix it without breaking the effect.
I have a problem where some of my units are not really being hit by the projectiles. They go through them and impact/explode at the models origin. The same weapon works fine on other Units with different models.
So I guess my question is how do I make it so that my projectiles will hit the model?
Is this an Actor problem or a Model problem?
Any quesses would be appreciated.
Model is Transport Truck
Also, in this example, is the turret firing its weapon? Or does the weapon actually belong to the Bunker and its just firing from the location of the turret?
So I followed this tutorial and ended up with everything right for the turret but its sitting on top of a checkered ball. Its not using the Bunker. Where do I need to look, and what am I looking for to fix this?
I believe this is the error the editor is giving me.
Invalid attach method [Unavailable] in AttachQuery[Methods=e_attachKeyIGNORE Fallback=IGNORE].

Here is the error text from the Debugger.
00:00:14.50 WARNING: [ c6 1] CActorAction[PrismBeamAttackLaunch] Can only create one CActorAction per effect [AAATestDmg].
Im not fully understanding what you are saying there. Where am I doing that (honestly I don't see it)?
Also uploaded a more cleaned up map so there is only the problem ability no extraneous stuff to look through.
