far clip around 50, even 100 should be ok as far as view distance. skybox is required for the sky tho. I don't know much about it, check out the tutorials by onetwo sc on youtube. specifically the 3rd person rpg ones
true, but it is nice how when you test a map now you can keep playing if you messed up and it instantly defaults to victory or defeat. I remember in the days of sc1, when i was learning staredit, soooo many times it was like load the map, everything explodes, black screen, defeat. hahaha the good ol days when having coloured text was oooooo ahhhhhhh
yup, "they" say that if one person writes a complaint letter, it represents a million unsatisfied customers. People in general don't tend to weigh in on subjects unless they are extremely for or against. Still, after loads of hard work, "looks cool :)" isn't exactly humbling.
thanks a bunch for these tutorials. especially the begginers'. Guys like you and onetwo sc and helral should get free t-shirts from blizz or at least a pizza hut coupon or something...
sure d00d all you need to do is throw down a dummy nexus at the start location in the terrain editor. it wont let you lace resources too close to it. then just delete the nexus after you've placed your resources. BAM!!
yea that's the way she goes eh. I have a good 10 maps with as many or more hours in each that I know will never become anything more than the stepping stones they are.
