I am really confused about the whole "unit duplication" option in the data editor. When i copy the unit, the whole unit isn't duplicated. For example if i duplicate the marine unit, i check of all the boxes, including the model "Marine". Even though i did that, the model is not copied, but others are, and those aren't even necessarily prober models. How do i make it work?!
Hi, I just found that my map which I've been working on for about two weeks has already been made, so I'm of to do another. Do any of you guys know if a game like Rabbits VS. Sheep from WC3 has been made yet or is in development? I saw an old thread back from july last year where someone had made it, but I haven't found any games in the custom games section of SC2. Have you? I'm on EU so I can't really check NA.

I have an ability called "Upgrade to level 2". I click it and after that i doubleclick the "Commands +". Then i doubleclick the "Execute - Upgrade to Wall level 2", and it's supposed to be in there? I can't seem to find it there :)
I found something about unit count requirements a moment ago, though I don't quite know how they work. So I'm thinking 2 requirements: Unit Count of Tech Center 1 > 0 and Unit Count of Tech Center 2 > 0. Then for the first 4 buildings' build abilities, put both requirements in under an OR, then the next two will only use the second requirement.
Come again? :)
Where can I find this OR option? My eyes do not spot it :D
As a noob I've been struggling a lot with upgrading/morphing my units, as it seems way more complicated than it really is when you've got used to it. Throughout my experiments with morphing, I bumped my head into this error multiple times, both ingame and in the editor
Quote:
Warning: More than one CActorUnit persisting in the same unit scope!
I searched and searched, but i couldn't find a solution for this. With some units, the standard morphing-procedure worked, while with others, it didn't and I'd have multiple units in the place of one.
Here's the solution for this problem:
Go to your actor and instead of using a "create" command in your [Abilmorph*start] morph (as I assume you have), just click the "movie-icon" and choose the highest in the drop-box to the right, the default one that you start with, and it should work.
If you use the create feature, it creates a unit before destroying the other, putting two units in the same place. Bear in mind that this method only works when getting the error in the first place. If you use this for a "normal" unit morph, you will have no unit but a shadow while morphing to the other.
I have a unit that I call "Tech center 1" and it enables 4 units. If i upgrade this to "Tech Center 2", how do I keep on enabling these units plus enabling some new units?
In a nutshell, what I want to do is this: Tech center 1 (Enables 4 buildings) -> Tech Center 2 (Enables the 4 original buildings plus 2 more).
I've been doing a lot of custom units, and sometimes I've been using the same unit but just duplicated it. When i duplicate i can check of all the things, but i still get a lot of random results. Sometimes, the actors and models are not even a copy of the original, but just an actor which the editor has written "copy" behind... Do you guys know how to fix this?

Normally there are 2 types of cliffs, manmade and natural ones. Is there any way to convert all the manmade cliffs into natural ones or vica versa?

Well, are you still working on this? :)

I see, but that doesn't explain why it doesn't show up with the model, does it?

Are you saving these videos anywhere? I'd like to watch it life, but how about the abillities? Can i watch that video elsewhere?

Look around in the abillities tab, try creating some buff abillities, have fun :P

One solution would be to just recolor it to the classic neon-black or just grey-black :)
I love formation defense, btw :)
