I'm about to make a mini-game style of map, with a lot of different small games. While all the guys playing are on one mini-game, I don't want them to be able the see the other areas of the map on the mini-map, and neither do I want them to be able to move the camera away from a given area on the map. Would this be achievable through changing maps ingame using triggers or something, or through something else?
Also, one of these mini-games needs complete darkness, so that you can see nothing except the area right in front of the player's unit. How do I make the map completely dark and make a light follow a unit? Like a flashlight.
I just recently made a hero with abilities, inventory, levels, all that good stuff, but when i made a second one, the inventory screen went nuts. To explain the case:
I pick my hero and press a button so that my hero's inventory pops out with his model - Archon - in it. I pick up a weapon and it conveniently sits in the slot right on his hand. Then i switch to my other hero and press a button so that my hero's inventory pops out with his - Karass's - model in it. Now, the slot where my previous hero's weapon was, is still there, with weapon and all. The previous inventory stays in the present inventory. I can't click it and i can't move it. How do i fix this? What did i do wrong?
OK, cool. Do you know if there is any way to freeze the hero inventory model? If I for example use the Karass model for my Karass hero, how do i freeze the model so that i can fix my inventory slots in the model's head or hands and it doesn't move around?
Oh, i just saw you were an absolute noob. Go to your zombie unit in the data editor and look at the tree beneath the unit selector. THere is a subfolder called actor. Click the actor and follow the solution i posted above
The problem lies with the actor. You have to go to the actor that is intervened with the zombie unit and scroll down in the left. There you find "Art - model" Change that to the infested terran model and you should be fine. This happens when copying the actor. It creates a new model with no attributes.
I've got a hero up and running with items, shops, inventory and other stuff. The interface is really the only thing i have problems with. I like the whole setup with a hero selector to the right, but it's colliding with my inventory-bag which is also to the left. Is there any way that i can adjust either the hero-selector or my inventory pop-up?
To sum up: Both my 10-slot bag and my hero-selector is located at the same spot, one of them are on overlapping the other, making it impossible to pick either hero or item. How do i change their positions?
EDIT: Also, sometimes my hero-selector images are just blank. There's no pattern nor reason that i can find. Do any of you guys know how to fix this?

What were those two guys from Starcraft I called? The two zerg advisors who died in the campaign. The blobs :)

Nope, just mess with the actor for Karass. You can add warpin effects through that.
