    I published the following maps on the NA server:

    Backwater Gulch Hero Edition

    Metalopolis Hero Edition

    Scrap Station Hero Edition

    Shakuras Plateau Hero Edition

    Slag Pits Hero Edition

    Tal'darim Altar LE Hero Edition

    The Shattered Temple Hero Edition

    Typhon Peaks Hero Edition

    Xel'Naga Caverns Hero Edition

    Map description:

    "Each race can build hero units which are based on marines, hydralisks, and stalkers. The heroes' abilities do not require research and are better than the regular units. Also, upgrades make the heroes much more stronger. The heroes are very expensive but can create a pivotal win-lose situation."

    These maps will be available on the EU server soon.

    Buuuuump. I need help with this also.

    Edit: Hm, I also want to make a map like a blizzard's map where it has multiple categories i.e., Custom, Melee, Co-op VS AI. I guess this can be done with game variants (with spectators and referees)?

    Edit: Okay, I noticed something in a blizzard map's in-game lobby. Where can I find Observer Type in SC2 Editor so that it has two values: Spectator and Referee?

    posted a message on Game Variants Help

    So I am trying to set up game variants so that when I create a game using my map, it's a 1v1 Melee game + ability to make spectators. I am not sure how to do this. Thanks for any help.

    Edit: Solved! I just had to use default game variants.

    @Helral: Go

    Hey, thanks for your reply. I'll try your procedure and update my reply soon.

    Update: Nope, it still doesn't work. And I double checked to make sure my Battle.net mod is linked to my mod local file. The upload fails at 99%. I also get that "LargeImage.dds" file error along with the dependencies error.

    Update 2: Maybe I need to add Core.SC2Mod since some data on my map depends on this mod. But I can't actually find and add it to my mod dependencies. Or, I need to get rid of it I guess? No, never mind.

    Update 3: Maybe I should try saving my mod file as .SC2Components. Nope, this doesn't work either.

    When I try to publish my map, it fails to upload it and gives me this error: Dependencies could not be validated. I was able to publish my own mod successfully but not the map that has the mod as a dependency. Any help would be appreciated.

    I need to test my custom units mod and do some cost analysis so that they can be used on any blizzard custom melee maps. Thank you.

    @Mozared: Go

    Phew, I finally fixed it. x( I had to immediately cancel after logging in to Battle.net and change the source from Popular to Blizzard when opening a new document.

    posted a message on Where to download most of Blizzard's melee maps?

    I ask the question because every time I try to open a Blizzard's melee map (like The Shattered Temple, Metapolis, Blistering Sands, etc.) through SC2 Editor and logging in to Battle.net, it floods the system and disconnects me. Isn't there a website to download all or most of the melee maps somewhere?

    posted a message on Moving data from a map to a mod

    @Kueken531: Go

    Can you tell me the exact files to delete from my map's component list please? Meanwhile, I will try to work this out...

    Update: I think I deleted most of the terrain files now; I am deleting the leftovers on the map.

    Update 2: I think it's working except when I open the renamed mod file, it gives me a warning message of Map info not found. Um, I actually can't fix this but oh well not a big deal. :P

    Thank you! :D

    posted a message on Moving data from a map to a mod

    Okay, so here's the problem I am having. I made an easy map and modified its data to create custom units, but now I want to move the map's data to a new mod file. I tried saving both as SC2Components folders and tried copying the map's folder that contains all data to the mod's folder, but this didn't work. Is there a way to do this correctly? Thanks for any help.

    Edit: Oh wait, maybe I need to copy some more files...

    Edit 2: Nope. I think I have to start all over again. Q_Q

    posted a message on Adding sounds after duplication

    @Maul2: Go

    Basically you go to the Actors tab -> select your custom marine name -> Sound - Sounds -> an Object Values dialog box. From there, you can select the sound values by using the values found from the drop-down box. For instance, for the index named Yes, you select Marine_Yes. For the index named What, you select Marine_What. Compare the sound values with the original marine's sound values to make sure you have the right ones.

    Um I don't think this is what I want. Okay, let me be more clear. If you select a marine in-game and look at its info panel, you see the little text "Rank: Recruit". Is there a way to change the word "Recruit" in the Data Editor? For instance, I have a custom marine unit named "Commander", and I want its info panel to say "Rank: Commander". Also, if you select a hydralisk in-game and see its info panel, you see the little text "Rank: Predator". I want to change the word "Predator".

    I can't find UnitKillRank. Where is it? I did Modules -> Text -> Unit from first drop-down box, then on the second drop-down box, all I get are EditorPrefix, EditorSuffix, and Name.
