@Varine: Go Varine: Thanks for the reply. I actually don't have a clue what the specifics are as to the makeup of the file itself. Like I said before, I know nearly zero about 3DSMax. Yes by the way, I am using Autodesk 3ds Max 2010 32-bit. I was able to import a model from SC2, and turn around and export it successfully, but when I pulled it back up in SC2 the skin was all black, so something was lost in the translation I'm afraid. If you want, I can send you the file (its not super top secret and I'm not in a dire rush, but I would like to see if it will work before I move on.) I'll PM you my info to get a hold of me, and then you can at your convenience.

    Hello all,

Been reading here for a while, this is my first post though. This seems like a great place for map makers to share their skills with one another.

I have come across a killer model for 3DS Max that I would like to use in a map I'm working on soon. I haven't the foggiest how to work with 3DSMax other than install and open. I did find NiN's M3 Converter, and got the script to run in the program, but it gives me an error when I try to export. If possible, could someone donate a few minutes of time to either skype and help me do it, or run the export for me and let me pay you back in some fashion.

Thanks for any help. (BTW, I purposefully did not give details of the model or map, I would like to keep it close to my chest for now. Obviously the person to help would know though.)
