    I actually did this a bit ago. The only thing I havent gotten around to doing is figuring out how to combine all the abilities into one button. Make an Ability - Instant with an affect Apply Buff. Make a Buff behavior and go to Modification+ and set add behavior to whatever attribute that skill will raise.

    You will need to set Max Stack Count and set the Count Per Caster. For the buffs per caster set it to -1 so it will be infinite and if you want to make a cap for that stat, you can set it to whatever you want or do -1 as well for no cap. With your veterency set it so you get resources each time you level up and set the skill to require the resource.

    If none of this makes sense let me know. The only problem you may have is that you need a button for each ability. What I did to make this better is set the abilities to items and make a special inventory for the items and made the items undroppable. If you like, I could set it up for you and post a map or mod.

    EDIT: I just looked at that tutorial you posted and wanted to add that I made my stats an attribute type behavior.

    Im not really sure what you are talking about, but the problem isnt adding the weapons. The problem is getting them to all attack and do damage. Example: If I add the same weapon to a unit 3 times, itll say it does 3 attacks at X damage but its only doing 1X instead of 3X.

    As for the turrets, I think I was misunderstanding how they work and dont think thats a solution so now Im gonna try and see if I can use a buff to boost the damage or speed or something to make it seem like theres more weapons.

    EDIT: Does anyone know how to set up the effect used in Starbattle for the upgrade to missiles that adds one missile to your attack?

    So Ive been fooling around with this and the only way it seems this would work is to create invisible turrets for each weapon, disable them, then use items to enable them again. Does anyone know a more efficient way to do this?

    Things Ive tried: Using items to add weapons (they only add once), Using items to add stackable buff which adds weapons (the buff may stack but the weapon doesnt), Adding a weapon multiple times and using items to activate the weapons

    Is it possible to have a weapon added to a unit each time it picks up that item?

    Think of it as a ship and each item is a cannon. Each time you pick up another item its like adding a cannon to your ship. Each time you pick up the item I want it too add the weapon again and have all weapons attack at same time. I hope this is clear enough.

    When I was figuring out how to make a basic hero, I went through his tutorial and paused it after each step to actually do it in the editor instead of just watching it and trying to remember it. Some of the stuff just gets easier and you can do it quicker the more you do it.

    Im trying to create an ability that when used launches a projectile a certain distance in front of the unit. I tried setting up a projectile effect but it keeps hitting right at the unit. If anyone could give me an overview of how to set up an ability like this, itd be much appreciated.

    I could be missing the point here but I would try setting up a buff behavior that had -shield regen, thus preventing any shields from regenerationg for the duration.

    You can use other peoples mods in your map. Look at the cortex mod, all it is is a bunch of people making terrains and importing a mod with all the triggers in it.

    I just noticed you can create yoru own 'Target Sorts' and one of the types is control. If you go to the drop down menu in the data editor its at the bottom. Might be worth looking into.

    I dont know what the Sorts+ field is but you could try setting it up as a weapon and just have it fire as you move. I think I saw something that would let you hide the weapon from the UI if you want, but that part Im not sure about.@zzPop: Go

    Hello, Im working on a map and Ive got Attributes and Veterancy already set up for heros. Does anyone know if its possible to have an ability add attributes? I want to set it up so instead of each hero getting a certain amount of each attribute, the player can pick where they go (like in D2).
