    posted a message on [NEW] Tactical Line Wars

    Hi all, first time releasing a map publicly. My map is called Tactical Line Wars, and it's a Tug of War that's intended to be a little deeper and more varied than CLW or Income Wars.

    I've spent many hours already spreadsheeting the balance of all tiers and upgrade groups, so hopefully that translates well in the gameplay.  Let me know if it doesn't.

    Like CLW, the map is a 3v3 with Beacons, income investment, and units that spawn from buildings automatically every 30 seconds.

    Research has 3 tiers; each tier has 4 unit groups to research. Researching these unit groups give you access to build 3 units (i.e., Marauder, Medic, and Mutalisk). Once one team member researches a unit group, his/her teammates cannot use research that same group. Basically, this means that you have to communicate and cooperate with your teammates, as they may have units that would be useful in your lane.

    In addition to unit groups, each player can also choose between a firepower, range, shield, armor, or speed upgrade each tier. You can mix and match upgrades as you see fit; however, upgrading one component multiple times will get increasingly expensive (Lvl 1: 350, Lvl 2: 700, Lvl 3: 1400). Upgrades will stack, even upon themselves (otherwise why would you spend 1400 on tier 3...)

    There are 3 different defensive cannons available, one per tier. (auto turret, missile turret, perdition turret)

    To defeat your opponents, destroy both of their Team Temples.
