    Im just going to put my simple outlook. Even though i don't hate anyone its pefectly fine to, just give them a chance for redemption every once in a while. I think if you can hate somebody as a natural impression being that you dislike them enough then its perfectly ok, its even ok for them to know that you hate them.

    You could also try the collision detection for TPS style maps with your units to see if they would shoot the object, except unless it is a TPS you will want to make only one doodad/destructable piece per vertical component of the building. Thats if you want a section destruction for your buildings.

    If you were going for a big building that blows up do something like hiruty suggested except you may want to make it have several key pieces like 3 support columns etc. otherwise its the same as every other building pretty much.

    It lacks variety in the bags and tbh I dont think they would do that IRL they would use wooden beams to support the dirt, possibly try using the wondow boards doodads, then maybe you will also use less doodads. scale it up really big for a world war theme and make it darker than usual.

    If you are using a low cliff level and hieght it may be the fish are too deep and therefore cannot be seen.

    I think the easiest way using my warcraft experience is make a advanced upgrade with each level increasing their damage. Give it as many levels as you may need and then use a trigger to research them, Make sure your units you want to get the upgrade are affected by it. this is the simplest way i could think of.

    I can only immagine the Battery ability would be similar to Warcraft 3's Tinker's ability "Rocket Swarm" where it would send a 'battery' of prejectiles to a selected area, although I've never touched it either.
    As far as Beacon my thoughts would be it targets at the casters feet for some effect or it would be for the Starcraft 2's Ghost's "Nuke" ability.

    These are just what I could think they would do from my own common sense, I haven't tried either of those and DrSuperEvil got practically all of them ^^
