We are. Your work is on the right? As for how slow it would run on lower end pc's, I wouldn't worry about it. Sc2 was coded to be ran on a wide variety of machines. I highly doubt this simple thing would make it lag.
In this "Triggering" exercise the objective is to create a three or more airports.
Planes must not crash into one an other and must land like a real plane.
Must be able to transport units.
Challenges
Think of these as achievements.
Make the user able to control a single unit (Civilian) and give the user the ability to purchase a flight.
Make a fully functional airport: People waiting in line to get a ticket for a flight, security scanners.
Make a dialog that tracks the flights. When and where they are going. Price of ticket, etc...
Sorry to necro this But could you also mention that parameters in functions are passed from the trigger(as in you set their values there, not just as you say it infromation that you put in, thats not descriptive enough of how awesome they are).

Details please? You can randomize an integer/real yourself at any given time between certain parameters.

Catalogs is the best way to do this. Here I have set up my barracks to add 5 seconds to the marine training time each time a marine is completed.
