    wow, yea when i open your version of the map, those fields show up in the event - events +.....

    problem is i made a bunch of changes to the map recently and now ill have to redo them, oh well. thanks for the help. not really sure what to think about not having certain fields.. maybe it has to do with the dependencies i started with?

    edit: wtf? i downloaded the map that i attached on this forum and opened it and the abilmorph fields are there....

    ill try attaching my updated version and downloading it and see if that fixes it.

    edit2: nope.... could you possibly download the map, save it, and re-upload it so i can get those fields haha. would be much appreciated. this is pretty ridiculous

    man, when i look in the event - events + area in the actor of blockade 1 (lowered), there is no field for abilmorph.*.finish. theres no abilmorph field anywhere in there; i even did a search in its actor for that name and it didnt have anything come up. however, the raised version of blockade 1 does have a bunch of abilmorph fields. they pretty much all link to the lowered blockade 1, except one that had "destroy" instead of "create" at the end. I linked it to the lowered blockade 1, but it made it even worse. should i just mess around with those fields in the raised blockade 1 until it works?

    are these in the event - events + field? if so i dont see them. ive attached my map to this post. if anyone has anytime to quickly look at it and see what the problem is that would be sweet. the building im trying to get to work is called blockade 1.

    otherwise, if people could still ask about certain aspects of the way my data on the supply depot is set up so that i can figure this out, that would be cool.

    well i also duplicated the lowered version too and have it linked in the lowered ability. it turns into the right building its just that the model and animation dont show. When you say copy verbatim, are you talking about copying what it says from the original supply depot event - events +? if so, then i should probably have it link to my lowered and raised version of the supply depot and not the original lowered and raised supply depot, right?

    I made my own version duplication of a supply depot and im having trouble with its animation and morph from raised to lowered. The supply depot works fine when built. When I lower it, it morphs into the correct unit and does the animation, but the model for the lowered supply depot disappears. The unit is still there and is selected, so I can raise it. When I raise it, it doesnt do the raising animation, but ends correctly and shows the raised supply depot model. When lowered, if I click away from the supply depot, there is no way to select it again because the model is gone. Are all these problems mostly having to do with my events - events+? If so does anyone know how i can fix this, or should i post the map?

    awesome thank you, i didnt know you needed an attack actor, i guess it makes sense that you would. still really puzzled on the whole death animation thing still. seems like it must be a bug or something.

    edit: got the death animation working, apparently it was using the custom death instead of death effects.

    but, now i have a new problem :(. when i build my building there is a black sphere for the build model and it remains there after it is done building. so its my building model with a black sphere underneath it. i have a build model set for the actor which is the same as the model for the actor. where is this black sphere coming from?

    posted a message on keep footprint model on structure built

    is there a way to keep the footprint model (bottom grid that comes up when you are in the process of placing a structure) under the structure after it is built, then destroy it when it is destroyed.

    if this isnt possible, is there some kind of way i can attach a colored square of the same size as the footprint to the bottom of the model. i read that blizzard put colored squares into the editor but i dont know where to find them.

    ive made a tower based on the photon cannon and there is no attack sound. in the actor, ive linked the photoncannon_attacklaunch to the attack in the sounds - sounds field and it still isnt working.

    also i want the death to not be the photon cannon death since i changed the actor's model. in combat - death effects, i changed the model to hallucination death. I did this on a different building and it worked just fine, but it wont change for this building for some reason:

    posted a message on referring to a unit that is built

    well it turns out the action i was having it do wasnt working so i have a new problem which ill keep in this thread so i dont spam the forum.

    i have a basic leaderboard set-up and it doesnt seem to be updating. originally the variable X is an integer set to 0 and i in this test im having the trigger wait seconds and add 5 to the variable so that it shows 5 instead of 0 in the leaderboard. when i test it, the leaderboard says 0 the whole time. is there something im missing?

    Leaderboard - Set (Last created leaderboard) item text at column 2 and row 1 to ((Combine ((Text(X[0])))) + "%")

    Leaderboard - Show all leaderboards for (All players)

    General - Wait 5.0 Game Time seconds

    Variable - Modify X[0]: + 5
