    Is it possible to view all of the unit portraits in SC2? Is this stored somewhere in the directory for easy reference? Including the achievement options?

    Is there a website out there that has already done that?

    posted a message on If Star Wars and StarCraft had a child...

    So I'm brainstorming a Star Wars/StarCraft map where BCs are Star Destroyers, Tanks are AT-ATs, Goliaths are AT-STs, Marines are stormtroopers, etc.

    How difficult would something like this be? Is it possible to pull models from the SW RTS and use them in SC? Would I have to make each custom model?

    hey guys,

    so i'm trying to get one computer ally to attack the common computer enemy, and vice versa.

    in the old editor, you could just set the Campaign AI to Hard and Value Area High and let the good times roll. how do you recreate this with the SC2 editor?

    i apologize if this is a duplicate topic. i tried searching and could't find anything.

    posted a message on Bug? Unit are firing through my "Metal Wall" doodad

    I'm having units walk through these metal walls. Do I need a trigger to stop that, or is there a setting I need to change?

    I know 'ignore placement rules' can cause this if checked, but I do not have it checked.

    Hey all,

    I appreciate any advice you can provide. I am working on my first custom map (going for a short campaign). I used the old SC editor for several years, but this new one is taking me a long time to wrap my head around (currently put in ~10 hours). I didn't think they could make triggers more complicated, but they found a way. I have little to no VB code experience, so I'm thinking that's where the handicap lies.

    Some walls I'm currently running into:

    -Duplicating and modifying Raynor Marine (Commando). His portrait in-game blacks out on animation, but I didn't adjust that from the original
    -Successfully change lighting during the campaign
    -Set walls as industructable; gates to open/close
    -Rain for the whole map - all trigger combinations I try cause the game to lag-out when it starts
    -Finding and "rescuing" units - was an easy trigger in the old version, now I'm completely lost
    -Opening doodad doors (Valhalla door to be exact) - I tried looking at the campaign map for hints but couldn't find anything
    -Opening scene drop-ship sequence like raynor level 1 - again, tried to look at duplicating the campaing map but was unsuccessful
    -Centering the game-start camera on a specific location
    -Can you modify unit colors (change Nova's hair color, etc.)?

    If anyone can send me samples of the code, or point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.

    The one I tried lagged my game out and had a bunch of errors on the left side of the screen...
