I know there is a Lava Splash doodad, but what I'm seeing is just generated from my lava tiles intersecting with the terrain. Unless you're telling me that it's actually generating those doodads, if so maybe do a destroy-all on that type of doodad to fix it.
Hey guys, I have a map that has a lava river that gets lowered after completing a certain objective. The only problem is, after I lower the lava level the splashing effect along the shore of the river remains. This looks bad when there's no lava there anymore :(
So I have a map where the objective is to destroy the Xel'Naga artifact (Char), when I kill it it blows up and looks cool and everything, then I do a fade to black and begin with the outro cutscene where the artifact used to be.
The problem is, the crater from the artifact's death animation is still present for a few seconds during my cutscene. Does anyone know a way to remove this using a trigger?
Raynor's Raiders are on the brink of activating the Xel'Naga relic on Char! Undo the damage the Terrans have inflicted on the homeworld of the Swarm and push Raynor's forces back so you can destroy him once and for all!
Description
This is a single-player mission, similar in style to DOTA. Kerrigan must destroy the Terran's base guarding the Xel'Naga artifact. There are multiple secondary objectives around the map to aid Kerrigan in her conquest. Use earned minerals to upgrade your troops and beef up base defenses.
So I've been working on a single player custom map for a little while, and it's nearing completion. I'm wondering what the best way to share it with the world is. Basically for it to get played often on battle.net, it has to already be popular, and it doesn't get popular until people play it! (who thought of this idea?!)
Single player maps don't often lend themselves to being played multiple times, so I don't see my map rising too too high in the list. Does anyone know of any other good ways for maps to be shared? Obviously putting up on this site is somewhere to start. (Also, I'm curious if there's any other good single-player custom maps out yet)
So I had a couple cinematics that were working fine before the patch hit, but since 1.2 none of the text shows up from my unit transmissions during them. I have cinematic mode turned on and all that jazz, has anyone else run into this issue?
So I'm making a single player level. The player has one computer ally, and one enemy computer. When selecting this map from your list, it shows it as a 3 player map though, is there any way to get this down to 1?
Also, since this is a single player map, is there any way to skip the lobby when selecting it to create? It would be nice, since all of the game settings will be locked down anyways.

For what actors, it's just terrain isn't it?

Tried that, didn't work. I think because the unit itself is already gone?

I've seen this issue too now since 1.3. If you figure out how to fix it please post your solution.

I just put up a new version of my level. The new version has a couple small features added to it, as well as some minor bug fixing and tuning.
I'd really like to get some more feedback from you guys, give it a shot if you got 30-45 minutes to spare!

Hey guys, I just finished my first map using the Starcraft Editor, and I'd love to get your feedback on it. You can check it out at http://www.sc2mapster.com/maps/kerrigans-vengeance/

Lobby, not loading screen.
