    TLDR version: if i have 2 weapons and 2 turrets, like the battlecruiser for example, how do i specify which weapon goes on what turret?

    Ok, so I know this can be done I'm just having brain problems today and can't recreate it.

    I have a unit, and I want the unit to have 2 different weapons mounted on 2 different turrets (not like a visible missile turret but the function with yaw arc and yaw start angle etc.) I can add functional weapons, and have them mounted on working turrets, but I'm missing where I can specifically define what weapon goes on what turret. In this particular case I have one turret facing 90° (left side) with a 45° firing arc and the other facing -90° (right side) also with a 45°, but I want to have one type of weapon for the left mount turret and a different one for the right. I'm pretty sure it's something as simple as a tag somewhere connecting the weapon name with the turret name, I just can't find it.

    posted a message on Are directional shields possible?

    The idea is to have forward, aft, port and starboard shield banks that all have independent shield health values. Is this possible? It doesn't matter if it's through manipulating how shields function or through some trickery like adding an invisible 'unit' to each side of the ship and making the central unit untargetable until a facing 'shield' is destroyed. Any ideas guy? I'm still not completely familiar with Galaxy so I can't even gauge whether something like this can be done.
