    I use a model swap for an ability in my map. While the ability is active my zealot swaps model with a dark zealot and the after the ability expires back to the normal zealot. Sometimes after the model is swapped back to the normal zealot the movement animation is broken. The zealot does not walk anymore but slides across the map without his legs moving. Does anyone have an idea where the problem might come from or how to fix it?

    I'm working on a hero map and the heros have base damage and get additional damage from items. the damage in the tooltip looks like this 10+50, 10 is the base damage 50 the one from items. I have created a life steal item, but it justs works with the base damage of 10, so 20% life leach will only heal 2 life. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

    Me and my mate Wii-King are looking for an us publisher for our tower wars map called Freax Tower Wars. The map is played quite frequently on the EU servers, it became popular about eight month ago and has always been on the second or the third page since then. If you wanna find out more about the map before you decide to publish it you can ask in this thread, check out our website or our presentation here in the sc2mapster (We added some more modes and did some other changes since we wrote it, but it should still be OK to what the map is about.

    I advise searching the forum for the several other threads where they covered the issue of making a critical strike with % damage. Most use triggers and a dummy effect. I advise the item gives the unit a buff that a validator for the crit strike effect then recognises.

    And how do i do the x percent chance that the critical strike triggers?

    Me and my mate Wiiking (Last project was Freax Tower Wars) Are currently working on a new map with the working title Freax Arena. It is a mixture between hero arena, rpg and real time strategy.

    You choose one of 6 different heroes and spawn on a mainly random generated map. You can kill creeps and do quests to level up your hero and get minerals. For each level you get a skill point which allows you to learn one of 4 different abilities. Later you will be able to choose a secondary class to customize you skill pool. With minerals you can buy items which are selected randomly from an item pool. As you hero gets stronger you need to build a base near a vespene geyser. You need the gas for some items and to build you an army which supports your hero.

    Yeah, that is really not a great idea. If you want people to play your maps, you don't let them search for it in battle.net 2. Blizzard had made a terrible mistake in not adding a search function. Until the do, you need to add it to these sites like the rest of us :)

    First a tip that makes it easy to find the map. The game speed of the map is normal, since most of the maps have a fast game speed the map is usually on page 1 if you filter for normal maps.

    I understand that its difficult to find the map, but i dont know what advantage it would have for you if i upload the map. You can't play maps which are not published in the battle.net. So you would have to publish the map again. Since a tower wars map is a multiplayer only map, other people would still have to search them in the list. And i dont want lots of different versions of our map to be published in battle.net because that will make it impossible to get enough games per hour to place the map on one of the first pages. So if you can show me a way to play the map after downloading it without having to publish it again i'll upload it. Otherwise please filter for normal maps and you'll find the map very fast.

    You don't have to download the map, its published in battle.net, so you can just click join game and search for it to join/host a game
