    @ace1177: Go Ok I got that but it doesnt seem to render the desired effect. If I click past a target the Medivac just flys by still. If I select the target and attack it flys up to it stops and starts shooting like normal. Maybe I need to get the side shooting problem worked out first?

    Speaking of... BUMP on issue of making actual doorguns shoot out the side not the front. I.E. medivac w/doorguns flys by a target and engages without changing direction or stopping.

    Question: Does the turret setting under the combat tab mean the weapon in question is turret mounted? or is it referring to a deployable turret? What I want to know is will this create the desired effect from above or not? anytime I add them to my weapons they stop shooting all together.

    @KratsAU: Go I thought I remember seeing rain effects as a doodad...check in doodads cause I know you could put like tumbleweeds and dust/leaves because I used em. I couldve sworn I seen rain effects in there as well.

    I was playing with changing ownership of a Hercules and I found that the cargo of units inside would change ownership as well. Dont think you can get around that so to me the best bet sounds like the idea from above where you create a invis bunker for each player group or something like that. Triggers = win

    @dseph: Go I noticed this myself and ended up finding something on these forums about just using triggers. So under the melee init trigger (or a new one) you can just add a new "event" (if not already there) "Game - map intialization". Then go down to "Actions" and create one for "Player - Set Alliance".

    Hi. I'm new to the Galaxy Editor and I need some help. I am trying to figure out how to make door guns effect on a medivac. By nosing through these forums I figured out how to add weapons, make them fire, and change the effect but I cant figure out how to make them shoot out the sides instead of the medivac stopping and turning in the direction of the target. Also how would you make it not stop at all? is that possible?

    I guess this kinda goes along with that but I couldnt figure out how to make it not fire from the center of the model. Would I need to create 2 new attack actors? one for left one for right?

    I should probably mention I was using the Marine Gauss Rifle effects/actors etc when playing with this and I ended up copying the Medivac Unit to a new one and re-naming it.
