    Nah, it just needs a melee attack animation with a beam saber for when attacking units up close like the Hydra and Roach.

    Any plans for the rest of Project V, particularly the Guntank and Guncannon?

    Another thing.... what's the plan for Gundam Galaxy anyhow?

    The animations could use work as mentioned, but hell it's an RX-78-2 in Starcraft 2... how can I not like it? :D

    Seems you have more in mind than just the good ole' Gundam... any plans for any more OYW mobile suits to make it in?

    It already invokes images of the old Gundam Century mod for Starcraft: Brood War already... oh how I wished it was completed ;-;

    posted a message on Giving units Point Defense Lasers

    In my time with the Data Editor, there's one ability that has so far alluded my ability to add it to the unit I wish: The Point Defense Laser from the Point Defense Drone. Despite me modifying a hell of a lot of parameters including behavior, I can't seem to add the ability to the intended unit (in this test case a Phoenix). Can anyone tell me what is needed to add working point defense lasers to a unit?

    I'm very, very impressed with the effects on this map, really captures that feel of being in the sky. =D

    Downloaded the map, and saw that a couple of modifications would make the map look better:

    - added a shallow water layer to the bottom of the cliff and then changed its color to white. This makes the entire minimap white.
    - Changed ambient lighting to grey (128,128,128) to make it look slightly brighter.

    ... words cannot describe the awe I feel at seeing this masterpiece of a map. Especially with the "void" feel on it. Kinda reminds me of Xen (Half-life).

    A melee map with that mechanic would be a battle of air rushes to see who can destroy each other's generators first before the enemy can move to another Island. Or you can make a "platformer" scenario with this where you need your units to blink/jump to another Island before it falls.

    The possibilities are endless!

    Actually all of the text and buttons was modified using the Data editor, had to figure out where all the data resided in which. It's only the portrait image and wireframe that was shopped in, since I have no skill in the creation of wireframes or portraits. ;

    Once upon a time, a guy came in and tried to use the Galaxy Editor, in his quest to create a mod to satisfy his desires. Unfortunately he was not elite enough to fully understand the Editor to the point of completing his desire to fruition. But where his Editor skill fell short, he made up for with another tool that he was proficient in: Adobe Photoshop.

    And this is one of his creations using both tools:

    New to SC2Mapster forums, but been following the front pages for a while now, nice to meet ya'll.

    If I may ask a question... has abyone here discovered what the publishing limit on custom maps is? I heard it was 2MB, though I'm hearing that that was the limit in Beta. Anyone know what the limit is now?
