Well, Umojan Research Ship gets a vote for the second image. The colors are so nice.
I´m not much for writing much text. As for the critic of my picture, I have to agree for most part.
Messy, unfinished, unpolished. Thats the one thing I always hear ;]... But finishing something that´s not getting playtime, nah. (nothing efer does tho)
In the end, that picture is just the tip of the iceberg..
Thanks for all the kind words and time spent to critic!
Keep the pretty pictures coming folks!
Thanks!
I´m always looking around, just not posting much.
I agree the area surrounding is very sparse. I just don´t want to waist time on it, since it only for veiwing purpose.
I just love the sand/dust coverd plating in Marsara, it´s the one thing i remember from the melee map.
I'll ask Dogmai to confirm, but I think just one - I think they are going to copy terrain over into one bigger map or such.
Also, week extension is really likely to happen with the responses we've gotten so far.
If they are going to copy terrain into a larger map, can we realy use different textures? (I don´t know if texture limit dosen´t apply to terrain copying?)
And if it is the same map, what textures are they using?
Sounds fun!
Keyeszx, you should ad the portal locations yourself, since you probably have an ide how you want the units to move around the map, dunno about towers and underground, but hence not mentioning it probably no.
Won´t have access to my computer rest of the week, but i was in the mood for some kind of MaraSara Favelaish town, it´s nothing special.
If I´m able to bring my comp I´ll might try to do some more..
And i have to say, Madlibrarian, that the water out of the wents was a nice one!
Wanted to show of some terrain, because it´s fun to watch! :)
Had something with Waterworld in my head when i did this, trade atoll or a merc hideout.
Not to happy with the water tho. And it get´s kind of sterile in the middle of the ocean.
Hmm, seems like we have problem, and I´m gona be a duche and say that unfortunatly ScrinKing didn´t follow the rules.
"The idea is this; the first poster that wants to work on this comes in and says "I'm working on the map".
He then downloads the starting file I've created and works on the map for 10 to 30 minutes."
Dude! You had the map for approximately 24 hours, 10 if you count from the "Thanks" post.
Funny thing is you both picked kind of the same place to edit, hehe..
Now I´m gonna wait for Mozared to smack his words of justice, and resolve this dilemma.

Thought I´d leave a sample. It´s a little smaler/simpler than the previous submissions. Enjoy The C&C crystalls were awsome.

Hi Went for that clear look of sandy erosion going on. Simple terran outpost with a Banshee landingpad. Cheers

Hi, I´m wondering how to create a custom dooda, I want to be able to resize/rotate a Terran Barrack I searched and found this thread : http://forums.sc2mapster.com/development/map-development/3134-custom-doodad/
However, I totaly suck at the Data editor, don´t know were anything is. So I´m asking for a short step by step guide on how to do it. Thanks
