I tried making both the large and small Preview images hidden, but no luck. Still wont upload it, but it did get to 36% instead of the normal 24%.

Whenever I try to publish my map I get the "Lost connection to gateway" error. I thought that the new patch fixed having to change the host to the beta version.

UPDATE: Patch 14 was released. The Map Publishing host preference has been fixed by default, so we no longer need to fix that manually. Undocumented Editor changes can be found here. You can also see the complete patch notes here.

I've tried with the beta host and the default host, but neither work. Anyone got any ideas?

Done remaking it, but I'm still having a problem. Whenever I try to publish this new second version I get the "Lost connection to gateway" error. I thoguht that the new patch fixed having to change the host to the beta version.

Well, because of the error with publishing it, I'm going to be remaking and adding on what I was going to add on for Version 1, skipping the Beta version.

posted a message on Failed Publishing (Question)

Ok, so whenever I try to publish something I get this. Publishing Failed

I looked around and found this thread on the Bnet forum http://forums.battle.net/thread.html;jsessionid=93758B1EE07D5C0F364B0923A76EB323.blade23_08?topicId=25026573167&postId=250240313029&sid=5000

I then tried making the new map and it also worked. Well, I had better start working on this again...

Is the only way REALLY to remake the whole map? If so, then that's just dumb. I spent the past 5 days working on this map whenever I had free time, and now I have to remake it? If there is another way to fix this PLEASE tell me how.

posted a message on Zerg Packs

Zerg Packs is a game where you start out with 8 players 4 on each team. There is one Alpha Male Zergling which has high combat abilities, one Alpha Female Zergling which can produce Zergling Pups that can evolve into normal zerglings, then there are two normal zergling players. The Alpha Female can produce Zergling pups at the cost of 100 energy and then the pups can change ownership with an ability to either of the normal Zergling players, but not the Alpha Male. The goal of the game is to destroy the other team's Alpha Female and to kill wild creatures to increase your Zerg's level. Later down the road there will be more units, abilities, and wild creatures to kill. If you have any suggestions for this game or if you have any questions please post them here and I'll read them as soon as possible.

Hello, I'm new to the whole map editor scene. I'm currently learning how things work with the editor and after a few days of almost non-stop editing (besides going to school) I think I'm close to releasing my first version of a game I've been working on (as soon as I get around a few problems I'm having). I'm interested in joining a team as long as you keep in mind that I'm new to all of this. My b.net user name is Alutos if you want to add me there. So yeah, hello.
