I am trying to write a trigger to detect when construction of a specific building begins to swap it out with another building (later will be replaced to swap with a random building from an array).
I have a trigger which is working to check when the construction of my "dummy building" begins, and I tried using the "replace unit" action:
Events-
Unit - ("DummyBuilding" from the Global data table) construction is Started
Actions-
Unit - Replace (Triggering unit) with a Photon Cannon using New Unit's Default vitals
but instead of replacing the building, it's replacing the worker that is constructing the building. Any ideas on how I can get this working?
I'm using the button Gather Minerals but the ability is linked to my custom build ability with the ability command set to the "default button" to build my tower.
So the icon I had selected to use for the ability was "gather minerals" and in game the button is actually trying to gather minerals as opposed to the custom ability I linked it to, did I miss something?
I have a quick question for a similar problem when creating a custom ability, although I created a button and placed in on my command card, when I try to select the ability from the drop down, the ability doesn't show up at all, can't figure out why.
So I was using this and I forgot to hit restore after playing a few games with friends. Tried deleting my map cache and re-downloading lost temple but it seems to not be swapping the correct map anymore, any ideas?

It was in there, apparently leaving the editor alone for 30 minutes automatically solved the problem, cool I guess...
