    Description: Jungle rumble is a “hard” tagged map which will most probably appear as one of the last challenges. It features some haphazards such as big boulders smashing your car beyond recognition and not to mention the lethal spiral with narrow roads and no road protection. This map will surely put your skills to the test.

    Status: 30%, map layout is pretty much done; I will do a few corrections before finalizing it. Next step is to define the map and polish the actual roads. After that, it’s all texturing and making it look splendid.

    Layout & Images: jr

    Red = Highly lethal

    Yellow = Danger

    Spiral, A narrow and lethal road, one mistake and you'll be sleeping with the fishes.

    Indy jones, A straight road, passing by a angry mountain spitting boulders at you. Only Indiana Jones could survive this!

    The tomb, Remains of who knows what, skeletons and muddy ground.

    Pit, Holes, big bad brutal holes.

    Jump, Guess!

    TD? Dota? Survival? Hah, those maps are for little girls! We’re born to be wild. If you ain't bad to the bones then you better start getting paranoid, because this shit will separate the Monday commuters from the highway stars. The stage is set, the green flag drops. So rev up your engines because it's time for Rock n' Roll Racing!

    That’s right; an awesome remake of the old time classic Rock N' Roll Racing is in the making. This will act as our diary on this head bangin' journey.

    Concept:

    The concept is to remake the old classic with a few new features and maps. We want to retain the old classic feeling, cars, upgrades and technical aspects. Although we feel that the old maps were a bit linear in some ways, so adding a little bit of a “Mario kart” elements in the rumble should not hurt (Dynamic maps with a lot of goodies). Do not fret; we will obviously have remakes of some old immortal maps which you surely will recognize. The original music, artwork, sound files and all that will of course be there. “OLAF SCORES A FIRST PLACE KNOCKOUT!”

    Current status:

    We’re “only” two working on this at the moment, Sockerbagarn who is the coder, and myself who acts as the map designer. At the moment Sockerbagarn is working on the car physics, he will personally fill you in with the details. Meanwhile I am currently working on a map called Jungle Rumble; more details can be found below. We’re motivated to finish this, and we understand the heavy and long process behind it. If you’re interested in helping us out, do throw a PM to either me or Sockerbagarn.

    Short term To-do list

    - Physics: Make the cars jump while going off ramps at high speeds.

    - Weapons and equipment! Bear Claw Mines, Rogue Missiles and Lightning Nitro are first up.

    - Some balancing to get the classic Rock n' Roll Racing “feel”.

    - Finish "Jungle Rumble" map

    - Convert at least four old classic maps

    - Finish at least four new custom maps. Next one will be titled “Steam ‘n roll”

    Hello,

    Here are some WIP projects that I'm playing around with. Unfortunately a lot of visual elements are still missing from the editor which slightly limits the creativity. I aim to be working with custom maps, mainly in first view or third person perspective. I'll keep updating this from time to time.
