Saw that video yesterday, the intro song is amazing :) You can find it on youtube. Screw it, I wanna listen to it again, lemme find the link... I wish there were a long version of it.
So gonna get this game when it comes out :) Looks absolutely awesome.
That song is in their reveal trailer:
In fact the one in their trailer is the longer version. Edit: Not longer by much
What I want instead is not the song, but the track starting as soon as the game logo comes up, when Red pick the sword up.
Here's a gameplay footage from PAX EAST with the best audio quality possible. Game start at 0:20
From the look of it, we're getting another amazing soundtrack. Logan Cunningham returned to voice the Transistor (USB sword). I don't know about you but the sci-fi, cyberpunk, and comp-sci settings just get me crying like a fangirl. Gameplay now incorporate some strategy time-stopping ability which should be much more than hack n slash.
If anyone is good with audio editing, I need the track that begins when the game logo is shown, without any other sounds effects around it. Probably hard to do though.
Probably not the original Power Ranger, but a whole lot of Power Rangers gradually evolve into dog robots that assemble. And ya I can't pinpoint the original one that started this trends. You are probably right.
In here, instead of mentioning D3 for PS3, the secret is mentioned. This means the secret is definitely related to the SC universe. We could finally see where Project Blackstone have been leading us.
Edit:
If you want comparison, here's the last one, WoW's version of the blogpost
"Think of it more as Seven Samurai," he said. "This is the Protoss on their last legs, in their final hours, fighting against the darkness that threatens to consume the Universe. And they are the only ones who can stand up to the forces that are arrayed against them. They are the proud few warriors facing the void, facing oblivion on their own, and slowly being picked off one by one. And that's what we're going to try and get across in Legacy of the Void, that real sense of doom, and really give you the sense of what it is like to be this race with those long, and amazing, and glorious traditions, slowly being consumed and snuffed out."
It saddens me too. My favorite devs when I was a kid was Popcap with all their downloadable titles (the early days of bejeweled). After their success with Plant vs Zombies, EA bought them and now they barely produce anything but mobile crap.
Diablo 3 for PS3 will be playable there. No news about the unannounced thing yet. However, seeing how mobile phone are emphasized in that post, I would have to say its a mobile title.
Another open lead: Project Blackstone which is supposed to be the viral campaign for HotS turns out to be still ongoing.
And since you focus on plot twists: Why doesn't Raynor's "death" count? It's played straight in the story, the problem was the mass of leaks and people like us who "meta'd" it to death. As a personal anecdote, that actually backfired wonderfully during my first playthrough of WoL: I first sided with Hanson, who then was all good and not infested at all, then with Nova due to the constant hints at a traitor and because his accusations of Hanson were wrong. So the ending actually came as a surprise, because I already had "the traitor" killed. Of course that all came crashing down during the second playthrough when I realised it was a Schrödinger plot setup.
You brought up another weak point of the campaign, the segmentation of the story. Both WoL and HotS suffered from it. The story are segmented and told independently by planets (HotS) or by quest giver (WoL). By giving us the freedom of choice, they had to make sure each story segments doesnt affect the others. Action in each segments carry no consequences, story in each segments doesnt mention the others, all until the final segments. This brings me out the immersion even though it is for gameplay reasons. HotS tried to be more linear, but then they still shoehorn the "choice" mechanics and it feels disjointed. For example, you can visit char right at the beginning or wait until after Zerus and you become the primal queen. Blizzard even put 2 separate prerendered cutscenes where Kerrigan is a ghost and a primal queen. However, dialogue did not change one bit. How Kerrigan changed in appearance since the last time Warfield saw her have no effects on his emotion as well as his reaction.
Yeah fuck you Blizzard for making the Protoss the comic relief of SC2.
As a protoss fan, no single protoss unit have been shown in either cinematics or in-game cutscenes apart from heros like Zeratul. And by that I mean no probe, no nexus, no zealots, no inner seeing into the protss society... The only protoss thing that has been shown in a cinematics is a lone Zeratul. I'm not sure if they can do it justice for Protoss in LotV, considering it has to feature both 3 races in a final battle of some sort

Unfortunately our forums dont have that feature.
You can use advance search function like this. Subtitute Progammer with your username. It might not help if your username is not unique

They used to go with a starmap in WOL. This is a video in Blizzcon 2007
Not sure it will be of any help since its quite blurry
You could find a better source, they showed some star system with planets on there too.

Another hint. A different version of blogpost is posted on the sc2 website instead

Both D3 and the secret is mentioned, which leads me to believe the secret is not related to the warcraft universe.

Press release: http://us.blizzard.com/en-us/company/press/pressreleases.html?id=9241761
Compared to WoL, which sell 1.5 million copies during the first 2 days, it is looking pretty good. I'm eagerly waiting for the first month figures.

Edit: Might be something like the movie Seven Samurais.
Edit2: Finally figured the name of the movie I watched: 13 Assasins. The premise might be similar to that of Seven Samurais

Boobs are awesome, 10 years old couldn't be able to appreciate it enough. Boobs are for adults
