    Thank you!

@Genopath: You're right, because me and my friends play DotA most of the time, so that's why I practice harder in Broodwar to get ready for SCII ^^

posted a message on Hi there!

I'm Jon Adrian, you could call me jonadrian619. I'm from the philippines.

First of all, I've been playing Starcraft and SC:BW since I was in first kindergarten, 1998, about the time when SC was released to the public (Seriously, since I watched my uncle play SC w/ his friends, then I tried it out, and then I got addicted to this awesome game forever!), Even until now, so 12 years in total. I'm just gearing up for SCII competitions because I have watched almost every video of the Starcraft 2 Legacy channel in YouTube (especially Shoutcasts made by SC2L pro-gamer Crota, if you know what I mean), and I'm determined to be a pro gamer as well, not just a mod-maker, determined to increase my terribly low APM from playing WC3 melee and DotA ^^

I have experience in Warcraft 3 World Editor, and I have made about seven maps in total that which you can see here: http://jamodhub.blogspot.com/

I may be a veteran mapper, but JASS is still something new for me, as I haven't pondered on it's advanced aspects yet. But since Galaxy's language is similar to C, I think it shouldn't be a problem for a high school C programmer, is it? xP

With SC2's great mod potential, I think that there is still hope to revive a Wc3 Total Conversion that I have started years ago: http://www.moddb.com/mods/the-sands-of-time-warcraft-3-frozen-throne-mod Epic fail.

Formal introductions aside, I came here so that I could learn more about Galaxy while I still don't have a beta key, and apply the things that I will learn, once I can get my hands into an original copy (assuming that SC2 is officially released with patches). I'm hoping that I can recruit beta-testers here, and have people help me out with my game ideas, so that I'll have a fun experience here all in all.

P.S. The only computer languages I know applying are C, PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript, oh, and Borland C as well (I'm more web-design oriented ^^) Would I do well with Galaxy or simply end up in a mess?
