And how do I define towns? How do I set 0,1,2,3,4 etc?
AI Advanced - Sets town 0 to be the main town for player player.
Anyone has any AI triggers examples? I can use the script editor to a certain degree, but I like working with the trigger editor mainly.
Edit: What I'm trying to get done is place buildings other than the random way the AI does it with flag = -1. Thats just chaos. For example the first supply depots at ramp and the next 10 in a corner of the base.
And does anyone have any good info on how to use waves. The actual action/functions surrounding waves, asked somewhere else and just got the answer: use unit groups. Sure I could, but that would defeat the purpose of having the wave actions, and I can't believe that's how Blizzard intended it to be, so there must be some upside to using it.
Sure. It's all well and good to watch the existing triggers and variables etc. in a existing good working AI.
But I want to make a campaign AI. It's gonna be pretty basic, just make a couple of barracks, when reached a certain amount of marines/marauders, send a attack wave.
But I can't find to seem any info (pref. tutorial which breaks down the different actions and values) on how to make something like this in a simple and just basic way.
And the town mechanic. I'm like... WTF?!ยง It defaults with the value... -1.
Any links to someone talking about it or a written post would be awesome. Or if not, if someone has something to add?
