Hello. I'm new to sc2 map creation and I have a few questions for my first map.
I'm looking to implement some custom resources. As everyone knows SC2 by default has food, crystal and vespene gas; I'd like to add a few more resources as well as change how most of them function.
Does anyone have any tips on how to
A) add them to the UI
B) I need buildings to function similar to the automated refinery both generating some resources over time and costing others, units to cost but not generate resources over time - think the secret is in the autoharvest vespene effect
Any assistance shoving me in the right direction would be appreciated.

I'm looking to implement some custom resources. One of which it's a bad thing the more it increases. Relevant to this section of the forum, I'd like as this resource increases to display a transparent haze that becomes more opaque as the resource goes up. Think fog of war that you can still see units in.
