i mean basic missiles like the marauder attack or viking missiles, etc.
it seems like if the missile is mid flight and then the target is moved by this trigger, the missile is disjointed and does no damage. it simply strikes the fallback point.
i like the missions, same as WoL.
beyond that... nothing really positive. it's the same cardboard cut out villain crap from diablo 3. everytime an enemy pops up on my screen with abit of dialog trying to insult me this is all i can imagine.
really not a fan of the dark voice idea anymore, really not a fan of all the retconning, really not a fan of the love story.
im amazed they didn't change the ending either. after it was leaked and the reaction to it was catastrophic.
for SC2BW i extracted alot of the models/textures/sounds from the campaign assets mods and put them in my own mod files. this was to reduce the load times of the mod, technically im distributing assets but yea i really dont want to have to load everything and clutter my editor with story units and all that.
biggest issue i see is im not using the hots dependencies either so technically my mod will be WoL but i've extracted models from HotS to use in the mod arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

i figure it's just a cache thing, first time the effect is loaded it doesn't load in time to be used ingame, but it's ready for all subsequent tries.
well the problem i had on the weekend was the texture for a unit was missing. i fixed it. saved everything, uploaded it to korean realm, perfect, all working. switched to EU, uploaded, checked, texture is still missing. what? but it worked on korea? why blizzard.
i dunno what im doing anymore so im probably doing something wrong, it's just soul crushing work haha.
Oh noes! Each different region counts towards your total storage size, right? That's too bad, but hey, it's still a nice feature to have. ^.^
nah, each region has it's own storage size, my problem is it takes me quite awhile to upload 125mb (abit under an hour?)
not to mention everytime i change a custom asset file i have to upload it, upload the data file, upload ALL the maps, to update that dependency.
i've been updating my mod today, half the day is gone and im still going.

i've noticed a pretty game breaking bug in my mod. units take no damage from projectile effects if they are moved.
looking for alternatives, ideas?

nice, how did you make the particles spawn on the edge and move towards the center? i've tried to pull this off before.
