With Vanilla and HotS there always was the Issue with AOE/Spell markers on low Terrain levels. Since LotV the same seem to apply to the movement command. So if you Lower the Terrain height with the brush at a specific location and then ingame click on that location the movement Order will apply to a different location then where you clicked. Does anybody know how to fix or workaround this issue?
I had this too, if I remember correctly you need to change the vertical alignment to horizontal. Though Timer Windows seem to be just bugged in general, with HOTS they often don't appear at all.
Actually there seem to be another bug... In my case I changed the Computer Player Attributes to locked - the result: Every other Player Attributes default value is overwritten and whatever value is the first option will be chosen by default.
I don't know why they stop, but it's obviously related to the dummy weapon, because they don't behave like this without it. I guess they stop because they want to use the Weapon or similar. Could you post me the Values of your dummy Weapon? I didn't change any leash radius.
@MaskedImposter: Go Unfortunately this is exactly what I want to avoid.
@FunkyUserName: Go I created some Dummy Weapon with the following settings, however this just causes units carrying the weapon to stop every few seconds.
My problem with this Order is that it acts like targeting Point unless the target Unit is permanently revealed.
I'm looking for a way to "order" up to 1000 Units to chase a target Unit until either the Chaser is destroyed, the target is destroyed or new orders are received. Of course, without the need to reveal the target permanently or hogging the cpu completely. All I can think of are some fancy ways, that would work probably but also completely overkill the cpu with that amount of Units to order... Hope you have some better Ideas than me!
Lock when Public is unchecked; the Attribute unlocked within the Game variant. Yet every time I make the map Public all Game attributes become locked, this is a serious Issue I need fixed.
I was going to create a custom Score Screen, however after experimenting with this and that I just managed to:
Modify/replace entries without any effect
Make values unreadable (Score field becomes white colored with an star image and "Teams" written on it)
Make the Map unpublishable -> Header Error
Mainly I would like to display some Custom Information like how long somebody was playing or how often he used a specific ability and remove/replace other useless default informations.
The Question is, is this possible at all? Or am I just wasting my time on a broken feature?
Well, since all maps save and load slowly it most likely isn't a Editor Issue.
Another reason could be a extremely fragmented, compressed or encrypted? drive (especially if the drive is holding the temp folder), but if loading and saving to either harddrive or thumbdrive is about the same this shouldn't be an Issue. Maybe your exceeding your Ram or Pagefile?
It could also be some Software conflict, especially Antivirus Scanners and similar may cause something like that. You might try to close all programs (AV scanners are sometimes nasty to close, but they should have some option to disable real time scanning) running in the background and see if this improves anything.
Theres no difference in the time required saving to your Thumbdrive or Harddrive?
How large is the Project file? Does it contain some abnormal amount of specific Data? Do Maps in general take long to save, or just this specific Project? What are the Specs of your Computer?
There is some specific Setting related to Saves:
Preferences > Documents > "Optimizing Saving for..." you might try if this results in any difference.
Actually there seem to be some strange Bug with the EN(GB) Localization. If theres just EN(GB) used, no Attribute text will ever appear in any Map. If I use EN[US] everything appears correctly. Also if I just add EN[US] to an existing Map with EN[GB] it will be correct until EN[US] is remove again...

Referring to the following Posts there seem to be an awful Bug with Game Attributes. http://www.sc2mapster.com/forums/general/general-chat/67113-game-attributes-cannot-be-changed/

Actually I'm having the same Issue. I need to do further testing although I believe this is related to modifying the Life Maximum by reals.

Unfortunately I can't find a way to hide this Game attribute. Although it has to be Possible since I've seen Maps hiding it (e.g. Lottery Def)
Any Help would be appreciated. I'd also rather hide the "Mode" option though to my knowledge this is Impossible.

thumbdrive = usually slow transfer speed
large project size + thumbdrive = slow saving
fix = try to save it to a faster device e.g. hdd, ssd or maybe even a ramdisc
Ofc, there might be other reasons but this is the most obvious regarding the provided information.
