    posted a message on Finally i crashed my sc2 ... :D (land/liftoff)

    Hey i´ve done so many stupid things but this time i finally got an "crash sc2 ability" for my hero. :D Well actually i need help here!

    I want to give my (modified) battlecruiser the ability to land and lift off just like the terran buildings. For this i created 1 copy of my unit named the same but added "Landed" to the name. To save time i duplicated the Starport (Land) and Starport (Lift Off) and changed every single command with the old Starport in it. At first i just gave my BC the original ability but it would change into an starport with BC model. ;) No more attacks etc... Ok BC1 got a height of 5 and BC2 0 (tried 1 but still the same) i linked the new abilitys which i created to the abilitylist of the BC and run a test... as soon as i hit the BC Land button, SC2 freezes and shut down after a few seconds. I got absolutly no idea why this is happening, at first i thought its cuz of missing animations but it could land before without crashing (but the command card changed to starport), checked every possible link for the new BC Land ability and couldnt find anything wrong. Maybe im forgetting something?

    A little help would be nice! :) And sorry for my english, didnt use it for a long time now...

    Yeah i managed it like this too (drop it next to caster but with clicking) but still nothing new on my side for letting it drop on Iconclick. :/

    I experimented with this too but couldnt figure it out but how can i change the calldown Mule command like that i dont need give it a target and let it come down right next to the Caster just by clicking on the Icon?

    posted a message on Problems with correct animation

    Hey, im still new to the editor... well i figured how to do heros+levels and own Units but now i´m trying to get a litte more knowledge about changing models and animations. I wanted to create a Thor with Motherships Beam which result in a nuclear explosion. For this i used the Mothership as duplicate and gave it the Thor model but there is my problem! I got the Thor(exmothership) to be on the ground and count as ground unit but after nearly 2 hours of messing around with it, i found no way to let him move like a Thor, he still "hovers" around. Speed and everything is like the Thor should be but he wont turn or use his feet. ;)

    Am i right that the animations should change along with the actor ?
