    So far I can make only a basic map in the editor for your 1v1-4v4 maps for standard star craft. Ive known how to do this since sc1 so sad face. Im finally getting more serous about learning any kind of coding or programming because later I want to become a robotic engineer when im older and if that doesn't work ill go back to the graphic art industry, I currently am a high school student in junior year so the more I learn before college the better. I am eager to find a mentor/group to teach me more in depth sc2 map making and im also looking for a group to test weird/odd map ideas with me, example ( what if we make a game mode that's exactly like standard just replace zerg with their "Primal" counterparts... I figure that seems like a awesome idea) However when I attempted this..... I ended up with invisible units. 2nd attempt went better however none of the units had their attack animations. and now all the data was lost because I gave up on the project and a few months past formatted my hard drive.     mk so i did most of those requirments but i cant get my map to upload and when i did it was all code ... i know very little about the editor but im willing to learn. im a teen in high school with waaaayy too much time on my hands so in that time i could spend it learning new things like the sc2 galaxy editor. im sick of u tube tutorials. few are great at actually learning from like the one from iron craft about unit spawners made with triggers..( i dont like it becuase it only spawns 1 at a time and id like it to spawn in waves of 5 instead of 1 at a time.) things like that. i sent a mssg to jackthearcher about what i hope to gain. have the failed attempt at the upload attached to both a mssg to jackthearcher and my profile.. its just fkn code that only a note pad can open.(sigh) i dont know how to use the sc2mapsters uploading process. but other then that if you add me on skype at butters357 i can show you through screen sharing what my maps look like. none are done becuase i dont know how to finish em. i can make melee maps just fine but i wish to learn about arcade maps and start making awsome tug of war maps or epic survival maps.

    im about the same... ive been trying to join a team for sc2 map making because stupid people on u tube cant make a good tutorial very well and half of em that do either sound annoying or type the instructions and barley even have examples of how to do it and i cant find tutorials on making custom unit models or heros... so i want to find a team that can teach me how to use the editor. if you have skype maybe we could be an armature duo and

    im working on a 4-8 player survival map in wich players fend off countless forces that never yield never stop coming and only get harder as more cannon fodder infested and zerg come to end you as you wait for reinforcements to warp in from your protoss allies... im looking for some help i have the terrain done and an idea set but i need some help with making unit spawners that work right and a few other things. when you start you pick Goliath, marine squad, murader, fire bat, zealot, or immortal as your starting unit. i want to make 4 marines into a single unit that looks like its just 4 marines in a group together. and all of your starting units would level up until they die. the idea is to chop until you stop and kill as many of em as you can before your overrun.and occasionally a few protoss ai spawn to aid you in your fight allowing you to catch a breath and upgrade/ reinforce  ... if your interested find me on skype at butters357 or steam at dredd. hope to get some help soon.

    hi.. i have a crazy idea and i have almost no experience map making so ill put this idea here to grow. i always wanted to see a game mode were there were two bases heavily defended and some players made units to shit out of their base and attack the opposing armys. and some players having heros instead of units who help push the army to the enemy front and destroy the enemy fort/ base and end the game or start a new round. there would be air armys and ground armys air heros to command the skys and ground hearos to pummel the opposing force and..... how would this work... idk but id like it to be on a large scale map full of life and neutral creatures that could spawn occasionally to mix it up. and i dont want to see 6 marines and a tank.. nononononoooooo. i wanna see like 50 zealots and 25 stalkers with a few archons fight like 100 marines 30 muraders and a few tanks here and there in siege mode in just 1 lane (may there be 3 plz ) and heros wrecking havoc across the fields. (3 on each team ) and ( 3 builders per team. ) if you want to talk to me about it and help create the idea call me on skype at butters357 on skype. knowledge is power.. guard it well
