(That's sensless, I know. But when you make a map about zergs, it rarely has much text to translate, so why not to attract some additional players by making a locale for them?).
Looks like the question isn't as noobish as i expected.
The question is extremely noobish. It is: how is the default map locale defined?
E.g.: my map has an enGB and a ruRU locale. Which one will be loaded for a player who's neither british nor russian?
Maybe my english isn't so good yet, but i meant another thing here.
The creep itself - which is a part of the game mechanics - is controlled by a behavior, ofc. But the unit itself also has purely visual creep around it, and this creep IS a part of the model.
Hope you got the idea what i'm talking about: the purple swarmhost from HotS campaign (again, idk how it's called in english locale) generates creep when burrowed, but in my map I don't need this. Problem is that creep is a part of the unit's model and I can't find a way to remove it without editing the model itself. Messed up with actors for half a day - no result.
So, could anyone please help me by removing this annoying creep (or by showing how to do this with data if it's possible)?
So, is there a way to change a unit's armor icon and tooltip dynamically when it equips an item? With behaviors or smth?.. Using upgrades in this case is madness, imho.

Maybe. But idk how to do this. And most likely it'll still look weird.

This happens if the unit's actor gets unlinked with the abilities. You should either go to the actor events and rewrite them manually, or... idk.

So... Do I have any chance to get help?

Well, that's quite obvious. But the question remains: which locale is considered "dominant" if the map has more than one?

Thanks for introducing this thing to me. After reading some tutorials it worked.

Are you sure that the validator "At effect" works correctly?

just add an actor event:
Copied this from my map "The Hungry Swarm" where it works correctly.

Yep, much thanks.
No more need in this thread.

Nop, still 404 T.T
Would you be so kind to send me ([email protected]) the "Marine gunner" and "Marine sniper" models if you have?

I doubt it helps. If the files are actually lost, how would a moderator recover them?
