    I want to make Spaceships. I want to make like a "chain gun" ability (effect-instant) that will fire automatically a missile in a straight line toward where the ship is facing (with a limited range if possible) ... How can i do that ? Not having to choose target unit or target point.

    Secondly, how can i add ammo (limited quantity of missiles), and rechargeable close to a target point ? (like a base)

    Ok, new questions !

    1) I made a 'health regen' tower, with the medic beam, how can i do so that the beams starts at the middle of my obelisk (my model for my tower), where the blue circle is ? I've tryed messing around with the Site actors, but it didn't make it work ... A tutorial would be really appreciated on that one !

    I also made a defense tower (with photon cannon model), and gave it a new weapon ... I have the same problem : i would like my missile to come out from the little ball of the photon cannon.

    2) With the same cannon, everything works fine, except that i would like my new weapon to have a shorter period than the original one, which causes a delay between the attack animation of the cannon, and the missile launched ... How can i set the period or speed of the attack animation ?

    Ok ok ok ... i know it seems noob, but what is the GUI ? Is it an interface where i just copy paste all the codes that are in color, and that will magically do my inventory like as shown ?

    For the XML view, i knew we could see it, i just didn't know where to add those codes ...

    I would really appreciate if you could explain to me like i'm 5 how to use these codes.

    For the beam, nothing worked, so i just gave it a green color that seems to work great !

    1) i don't want to teleport them ... I just want to do something like they can't cross a doodad until they reached a minimum level ... I'm really new to triggers, so a good explanation Would be appreciated !

    2) Whenever i Try to open a second Map with the editor, the first one is replaced ... Is it because i do something wrong, or because i am on a Mac ???

    So i have a couple of questions i would like you guys to help me with !

    1) I made heroes, with 60 levels on each ... How can i restrict access to areas for heroes under level 'X' ??? A door would be the best to fit in my map, but any other solution is appreciated.

    2) When i see some cool stuffs on maps that are published on mapster or internet, how can i copy them in MY map ... The editor won't let me have 2 differents map open, and copy paste don't work when i close the first map and open the second :( (I am on a Mac. Also, please explain like i'm 5 on this one). Exemple of map elements i would like to add to my own map : http://www.sc2mapster.com/maps/saveload-

    3) i made a Health regenerator, and i used the medic heal beam, and setted her tint color to red ... The problem is that thé beam is too light, and its hard to see it. Howard CAN i make it darker ?

    Maybe more questions to come, so please look the comments

    Ok ... until now, i was making abilities with behaviors, effects, requirements etc ... using the data editor. I used trigger too once to make a hero selector.

    I've followed many tutorials, but this is the first that is not a Data/Trigger one ... all the green, red and other color writings, i don't know how to use them; and i would really like to add this inventory to my map. Can you explain me what to do with the color sentences and values ?

    Does your ability have different levels ? if yes, you have to put a C.D. for EACH level ...

    The correct value to change is 'Time - Use' in the "cool down" section (close to bottom of the page). I believe you just made a little dumb mistake on where you placed the C.D value ... so check that, and if it's not that, i can't really help you 3:

    I made a 60 level hero, with a learn ability that includes 4 abilities of 5 levels each ...

    My hero gains one charge each time he levels up, so he has 60 at the end, while only 20 are gonna be used.

    The problem is i don't want 40 charges to be there unusefull (that would be ugly O.o).

    So now i made my learnable levels cost 3 vespenes each (3 x 20 = 60 and it replaces the charges), but the problem is that the learn ability 'X' button still requires a charge ! How can i get rid of the charges, or just hide them and give 20 at the beginning ?

    Also, how can i do so that each time my hero gains a level, he gains one vespene ???

    Any help is appreciated !!!

    Thx for the help, but i understand what the inventory is ... i would like to know how to addict to my map, because i have no idea what to do with those chinese writings in colors ;D
