    Use create cargo units and have your overlord either as last created unit or set it as a variable so you can use "create cargo units" with that overlord

    Basically took that 3rd person shooter program that is in the trigger library and made the cam distance to .01 and cam height to 1 so that the camera would focus inside the head of the unit I have. Now problem is when ever the unit moves around camera goes out of focus and doesn't stand within his head. Its either camera movement is too slow or something. There some way to keep the camera ALWAYS inside that head of his....?

    Need a model editor to create models for my map. Basically you will be using the orginal model from the game. I am making a FPS multiplayer shooter but atm units cannot side step and attack at the same time when camera is fixed with the unit's point of view. So they either slide around when side stepping or face the other direction and attack when they are actually shooting the bullets the other direction. Doesn't need to be fancy just needs the legs to only move to the direction of the WASD and the top portion to move with the camera.

    If you need some sort of incentive to work on this I can provide a price or I can help you with triggering/terrian. I am very good with both.

    Is there a way to make so that the camera always faces the point of view of the unit? That way the unit's back is always facing your screen. Trying to make it so that you can shoot and run at the same time but it looks wierd when the unit faces the other direction while shooting

    ah i see i only used 30 abilities for each command card so i quickly assume it was infinte

    now there may be another possibility of reusing those same abilities on the same command card by adding behavoirs to abilities in the data folder first then deactivating them for the unit as a toggle key by triggers. Now this is just theory again, as I might go test this out later.

    reread my post carefully and understand what I am saying. Have you even tested it?? Even tho you are only allowed to have 4 command cards you can repeatly reuse them by hiding abilities on the card esentially making a brand new card in a way with a toggle option from a key on the keyboard.

    posted a message on 2 Questions: Set facing of unit to camera and custom heights

    Basically I am making a 3rd person shooter game and I run into 2 problems.

    1) My camera is set on a target unit and follows it around but I want the facing of the unit also sync with the player's camera, so the back side of the unit is always facing the player's camera. Atm he can shoot and move but when he moves backwards or side to side his gun faces the wrong direction and it looks wierd.

    2) Since for some reason the game doesn't recognize the z axis when it comes with shooter games I have to make my own custom heights for each unit and constantly test them so they can be accurate with the unit's model. Now for the flying units like the mutalisks, there is of course a gap from the ground to the bottom of the mutalisk cuz its a flying unit but I can still shoot that "gap" and still kill the mutalisk. So is there a way to fix this gap problem??

    lol here's the solution. Add as many abilities as you want to one slot button lets say 2. Now ability 1 will be priority over ability 2 when you place the abilities in the command card of a unit. Now go into triggers and disable ability 1 when a certain key is pressed, you can set this as toggle if you want. So esentially you can't modify how many command cards you can have, it will always be 4 command cards. But by disallowing abilities and allowing them to be turned back on. It will create INFINITY command cards. Such a simple solution.

    Basically atm I am trying to figure out ways to add more command cards to the editor indirectly since it only allow you to have 4 command cards only and if there was a way to physically add more plz tell me. But for now I am going to assume you can't atm so I wanted to do something different.

    Since the command card is able to have more than 1 button on each slot is it possible to have, for example, 6 buttons on card 1 like 3 Learn buttons and 3 skill submenu buttons. Each learn button will also be submenu buttons but be associated with learning abilities. While the 3 skill submenu buttons deal with activating the skills/abilities. So in cards 2,3,4 will have 2 buttons within each slot, a Learn abilitiy button that only be used by pressing a learn button from card 1 and a use skill button only be activated by pressing a skill button in card 1.

    In the data folder you are able to add more abilities in each slot, that is why when you use some skills you also get a cancel button while using the skill, like nuke for example. I am trying to see if theres a way around the 4 command card limit.

    Understand what my concept is? Hope it makes sense. I've tried to do it in the editor but failed in many ways. I usually can only learn the ability once then it just can only use the abilitiy and i can't level that ability anymore, hence stays at level 1.
