Let's face it; we all love rocks.
Anyway, that's a nice terrain. It could, however, use some work. One thing which I would recommend doing is changing the foliage. It would look a bit better (IMO) if the dirt didn't have plant's growing randomly out of it. Also, it would be great if you put something around the edge to hide the hideous border between the terrain and the skybox. Maybe you could add hills, or wall, or anything else to cover up that edge.
Hmmm... does a transparent unit's flashlight still appear not transparent? If so, then you could just attach a unit with a flashlight to your fps unit and have that unit be 100% transparent and only show when the flashlight is on. This probably isn't the best solution, but it could work :)
-Edit: also make the flashlight unit always face the same as your unit you control, and have the unit you control face the camera angle.

I'm pretty sure that effect is just part of the model.

Here's a terrain I made. It's a sunset (or sunrise) on Xil, by the ocean.

That definitely looks better :)

It looks like you have 192.

Are you sure you don't also have the camera following the unit? If so, then turn that off when going in the corridor.

Ah. Well, I don't know of anything to remove those. Also, I have no idea why those parts don't scale with the rest of the model.

681 for me...

This should remove Zeratul's cape. Hopefully that's all you want removed, because the other cloth thing is part of the model, not a ribbon.

Are the people using campaign models?

Hmmm... did you use custom models?

@Bibendus: Go Do rocks actually have any textures on the bottom? It could just be elevated and flattened giant rocks.

I already have had that problem and I've compensated for it :)
